Twin Wire 868 Sports Fencing

Twin Wire fencing offers a unique welded mesh fencing system option. Through the bespoke mesh pattern, available in two sizes, 656 & 868, both providing an elegant, high utility item-set. Twin Wire Mesh systems are the ideal fencing solution to those requiring a secure area for sports play.

Product Information

The added REBOUND system comprises the standard twin wire with the lower 1.2m of the panel formed using the 868 system with a 55mm x 60mm aperture. Post sizes vary dependant on height, for example, the 3.0m high system is fixed onto 80mm x 40mm box section posts and systems that are 4m or above are fixed onto 100mm x 50mm box section.

Standard stock colours are Green Ral 6005 and Black Ral 9005. Other colours are an optional extra.

 Qualities

The horizontal twin rods feature allows for a greater level of resistance to damage and the natural elements due to increased strength qualities. A barbed end provides an added boost for security, making the fence very difficult to climb or to pass objects over the fence.

Posts are made from secure, rolled hollow section mild steel providing a firm and rigid structure. Clamp bars are provided along with M8 diameter tamper-proof bolts to securely fasten the fencing panels to the posts, subsequently generating a full-bodied fencing system structure.

All our Twin Wire 868 fencing systems use a galvanised for and polyester powder coating finish making it long-lasting, but also an attractive finish, there are range RAL colours to choose from.

The 868 Twin Wire design is a steel structure consisting of twin horizontal rods (8mm in diameter) and vertical rods (6mm diameter) welded at the meeting points. Each panel is finished with two different ends – one end is flush while the other end dictates a 30mm barbed top. Panels have the option of being set to either desired position i.e. with the barbed end facing downwards.
